Attending SAU was my only choice since itQuite BrightBusiness - Management and Administration
Attending SAU was my only choice since it is in my hood. I like the small university. The only thing everyone dislikes is you have to pay for parking ($60 per semester now. There are many social orgs to join & lots of volunteering to do. Even though SAU is located in a not-so-good-neighborhood, security is here. Some of the faculty only pays attention to their special pets, but mostly, faculty & adjuncts try to assist students whenever it is needed. The staff are friendly, but do get annoyed by students pestering them. Their campus wi-fi is weak and needs to be improved. If you want a one-on-one and a small campus, SAU is the place for you to attend.

SAU really is a great place--- I haveBrightBusiness - Management and Administration
SAU really is a great place--- I have zero regrets attending school here. The dorms are nice, faculty are great, wonderful staff and I actually like the administration. SAU dedicates quite of bit of money toward making the outward appearances of the university look good-- I think it's money well spent. I've enjoyed my professors here and I found the coursework to be relevant not too hard. If your looking for a school that will actually care about you in the process, this is definitely the place. SAU really tries to be innovative in everything it does--- great website. I would recommend SAU.

Studying at St.Psychology
Studying at St. Ambrose University was an absolutely wonderful experience for me. I tried attending a large state school, but it was just too overwhelming for me. Crowded auditorium classes, inaccessible professors, and a massive campus made learning unecessarily difficult.

The faculty and staff at St. Ambrose University treated me like an individual, not just another number. I was happy to find that the small class sizes offered ample opportunity to ask questions and gain complete understanding of difficult concepts. I never had to walk more than five minutes to get anywhere on campus, and I never had to park more than two blocks away(instead of several miles at the state school).

SAU gave me the self confidence to tackle subjects that I never would have attempted at the state school, and this challenged me to achieve my full potential. It's not that the courses were any easier at SAU(if anything they're more difficult), but the biggest difference is the individual attention that SAU faculty provides. Professors are almost always available to answer questions in person, via email, or by phone. The professors at SAU are very friendly and not above taking the time to work with students individually. Were it not for the education I received at SAU, I wouldn't be pursuing my master's degree right now. Had I stayed in the large state school, I would have been lucky to escape with only a Bachelor's degree!
