People there are very easy going and very friendly. Boise has a really chill atmosphere, so if you're looking for someplace with crazy parties and such, its not for you. They have a tiny Greek life. There is definitely things to do around there though. Something fun is always going on.Boise State does not get credit for their academics. There are fellow students who feel equal and those who feel superior. The old saying, you get out of it what you put into it is very applicable. The biggest gripe I have with BSU is that they are claiming they must make more cuts to the English department and Liberal Arts in general. However, they are simultaneously providing more money for a bigger football field, new turf, more seating, etc. The University is following the path of many Universities and placing the priority on sports rather than the quality of education. This is why I say I would leave given the chance. Half the classes in the catalog each year under the English heading are never taught due to budget and staffing cuts.
