Physics department is worse.Physics
Physics department is worse. There is a professor who is suffering form cancers for several years that is what he tells to everybody to get sympathy and help from people. He never come to work because of his sickness but actually he does not want to work. He spent time at home with his wife. His job is tenured and so he think he does not need to work any more. Stay away from him, he manipulate words very quickly and can easily put you in a trap to give you trouble. He is a kind of psycho patient, stay away from him. He is a liar. He is actually a Muslim. He did his PhD from a Muslim university, but he does not write the full name of that university in his CV to hide that information. He spend several years in middle east before coming to USA. He is basically ruining the department. He publish all his paper in Journal of applied Physics through one conference proceedings which held every year in, he claims that these are regular peer reviewed paper. He is a cheater don't believe him.

Academic Advisors- do NOT help you at all. (Don't answer questions, they don't provide you with any options to better your education/degree, etc. They just do the bare minimum to cover their own asses, but you get no where.

Bookstore- EVERY semester they lose/send my book the the incorrect location from which I had requested. Not one, not two, not even three times, which is honestly just incompetence at this point, but EVERY book order with each individual book has been lost EVERY TIME! Not to mention, the books are on average $100 for each book.

Financial Aid/Maintenance Department- Anytime you call BSU for help, which you constantly need because they are constantly messing up, they start transferring you to numerous departments. When you do finally speak to someone in the "correct department," they are belittling, arrogant, and they sound like broken records. They never factually tell you the correct information regarding your issue (which they most likely caused in the first place).

Dropping Classes- They literally give you one class session to see if you like the class or not. The teachers never do anything on the first night as far as presenting any sort of teaching style so you never actually know how they are until it's too late. By the second class, when they actually start teaching, there is a drop class fee in place with a 'W.' If you realize you will learn absolutely nothing from this incapable, idiot they are calling a professor, it's too late you have to either suck it up one more miserable semester, or you have to drop the class with an 'F.'

Parking Tickets- They LOVE to give you these!! Every time I have to go to the bookstore because they did not send me my book, I have an ugly, bright-orange parking ticket on my window. This would be completely understandable except for the fact that my parking meter is still blinking green??? That makes sense. Can they get any more money hungry?? If you try to fight it, it never works and they threaten your admission/student/school status for non-payment.

Although i would love to say this isQuite BrightMechanical Engineering
Although i would love to say this is the best university ever, i often find myself "dumbed" down by the general population. Everyone is friendly, but sometimes they let some people that do not belong in college through. overall this is one of the best experiences of my life, and the engineering department is phenomenal.
