Positive Negative Neutral Advice

You people don't know what you are talking about. I got a great score on my ACT and I'm attending ISU because I want to be a musician. I believe ISU to be a wonderful school with lots of friendly poeple and staff. The surrounding city is small but pleasant. I would not transfer to another school and I definately recommend attending ISU.

Question
If you are looking for a university withQuite BrightBusiness - Management and Administration
If you are looking for a university with beautiful surroundings and friendly people, Idaho State University is the place to be. I do not believe some of the negative comments here, probably some bad experience. I am a graduate student at ISU and I believe that ISU has grown in years. Every university takes time to grow and develop, ISU is one.

My experience so far has been enchanting. I enjoy the classes, the college environment and the people around. The student-faculty relationship is really good. They are helpful and respects students. They are just a phone or email away.

The university is not expensive and the cost of living is really low, a good thing. The classes are not easy, especially graduate level. you need to be prepared to do well. The competition level is really high, not at all easy. Overall, if you study on a regular basis, you will do well. With the student diversity and coordinative environment, I am enjoying my most at ISU.

Question
ISU overall was a good school.Quite BrightSociology
ISU overall was a good school. I have to agree with most of the posts that it has a lot of downfalls but it did have a lot of good things about it. It is building a new campus and getting rid of some of its older 70's building in the process. It trys to capture school spirit but as a non-traditional school this is hard to do. It is rated one of the top nursing programs in the nation and has a great pharma program. It is opening Idaho's only med school in a few years that will be run out of the universities hospital. The town on the other hand is bad. They hate the school and could care less about its sports, students, or any thing ISU related even though it is the largest employer. So if you know where your headed and don't mind just going to a good school without alot of partying and the traditional college scene. ISU is an option. P.S. stear clear of the Sociological dept. not worth the time.
