The faculty truly do make the difference here. They're competent, easy to listen to, and not only have a clear passion and understanding in what they study, it's easy to tell that they care about getting to know their students and helping them learn. Very few have been problematic, and the ones that are usually work out if you just talk with them... which is usually very easy to do.

The students are easy to work with and usually try to be open and friendly. You'll always get a few reckless drunks due to the influence of alcohol and Greek life (which they're starting to crack down on a bit harder this year), but if you know how to deal with that, you're pretty well set. Just join activities that interest you and you're guaranteed to make at least a few connections... with the best part being the fact that nearly everyone will be less than a mile away from one another.Oh, and Peoria's what you make of it. It's not the best city, but it grows on you, and it becomes a bit more enjoyable once you have a car. Night-life could be better, but there are some perks.

I went to Bradley for all 4 years and loved it! It is true that Greek life is a large part of Bradley, but I don't feel it's the only thing Bradley has to offer. I loved the small campus (you can get anywhere in 5 min.) and the activities in the quad. I lived in Geisert my 1st year and it was by far the best dorm. Williams is for sophomores or juniors and is nice, but a litte run down. I recommend living off campus if you get the chance! I would encourage others to attend Bradley, I truly enjoyed my time there!

I have attended four separate colleges or universities, both private and public, during my undergraduate and graduate studies, and my experience at Bradley was by far the best. The dean of computer science (my major) was very accessible and showed genuine interest in the success of every student enrolled in computer science. The professors were excellent and treated the students with respect. I highly recommend Bradley University.
