No one wants to talk to anyone else,Quite BrightComputer Science
No one wants to talk to anyone else, like at all. You will make 0 friends unless you put extreme effort into it, where at a normal university you make a bunch of friends just because. Teachers are terrible. They don't know how to teach, I had to teach myself everything. The teachers are nice people, just many don't speak English and can't teach at all. The school also has no help with financial aid. I obtained a 32 act and 4.14 gpa at my high school and I got ZERO scholarships or help at ALL. I paid full price (which honestly did not save me much money at all compared to a 4-year university with scholarships). I had to transfer out so fast I was so miserable.

Question
This is a great community college if youQuite BrightBusiness - Management and Administration
This is a great community college if you are trying to get your Gen Eds out of the way and a good stepping stone before heading to a four year school. All of my professors have been great except for one, but from other students we have had the same complaints about that one. They all can't be great. There are a lot of extracurricular activities to participate in. The only suggestion I would make is to try avoid taking online courses. The professors are very lazy with online courses and seem to believe that just throwing curriculum up on a website is teaching and they often feel as if they don't have to make time for office hours or answer emails. I would try and take most classes in a classroom setting you will actually learn something and will not have to deal with professors being lazy.

Question
This school was made for people who haveAverageEngineering Department
This school was made for people who have undecided majors or just need a quick, cheap associates degree. Student services are always a mess, unorganized and confused with any questions you may bring up to them. Chances are if you don't know the answer to your problem they don't either. The teachers can either be really helpful and make the class good or won't care at all and won't even notice if you drop the class. The Berg Instructional Center is the best place in the building, however the K building is not the nicest looking or smelling building, especially since its the oldest part of the college. College of DuPage offers Associates of Science or Arts to the majority of the kids that walk in so it's very easy to waste your money on classes you'll never need. Be sure to confirm with a university that your classes are transferable before enrolling.

The huge issue with the school is the staff. Every semester that I enrolled in the class, financial aid always dropped me out of my classes for some reason and they do nothing to help you get the classes you paid for back. They are always confused and will always give you the run-a-round to ask other departments questions that they should have the answer to. If you enroll be always on MyAccess to make sure financial aid is set to go for the term. I would not recommend this school to anyone that is looking for a serious education.
