I am getting ready to graduate as aQuite BrightHistory/Histories (art history/etc.)
I am getting ready to graduate as a History major. I really like Elmhurst College and would recommend to anyone who wants to study more of liberal arts. I don't know much about the other majors to know if they are good, but have been happy with my history classes. I did a study abroad in Europe and that was fantastic. I went out and found my own internships, which I think students should do, but Elmhurst supported me in that with some financial help for transportation. My experiences here have been mostly good, and I hope some day when I am able, to financially support the college due to the amount of financial help I received. Thanks Elmhurst College!

I am and out-of-state student and graduated May 2016 as an Honors Scholar. I highly recommend the Honors Program to all students. It makes your education much more satisfying and is not difficult. I also took advantage of the opportunity to study abroad in England, which was the highlight of my undergraduate studies. If you can study abroad, do it!! I completed several internships in Chicago and encourage students to pursue professional experiences via internships. In today's world, it's really a must! Also, it's easy to get involved on campus and join theater or other clubs...or start a club of your own! I'm going on to graduate school and feel prepared to take that next step. I'm going to miss the downtown area of Elmhurst. It's hard to describe how wonderful downtown Elmhurst is, all within easy walking distance. The Metra station is very close to campus, as well. It's hard to put a price tag on the convenience. I highly recommend students interested in a liberal arts education to take a serious look at Elmhurst. It's an excellent school set in a lovely suburb...and only a short train ride to the big city. It's really a gem and I can't recommend it more highly.

I absolutely love Elmhurst College.Quite BrightHistory/Histories (art history/etc.)
I absolutely love Elmhurst College. I cannot say enough good things about it and all the opportunities I have had over my time here at his college. From studying abroad to internships, Elmhurst has been there to support me the whole way. I feel very prepared to move on to graduate school, but will leave Elmhurst with fond memories and good feelings. This is a small campus, but it offers to much because of its close proximity to Chicago. If you like a small town feel, yet access to the big city, this is the college for you. I really can't say enough good things about this college and please come take a campus visit and see what it has to offer. With decent grades, you can receive excellent financial scholarships. I have received those, as well as scholarships for study abroad and scholarships for internships. Don't get "sticker shock" over the cost without applying and finding out what financial aid is available to you. Good luck and go Bluejays! :)
