Eastern's
Honors College programs are open to students who meet at
least two of the following criteria: ACT composite score of
26 or higher, or SAT composite score of 1100 or
higher
Upper 10 percent of high school graduating class or
a 3.5 cumulative GPA (on a 4.0 scale)
3.5 cumulative
GPA (on a 4.0 scale) for at least 12 hours
of course work taken at EIU
The permission of the
Dean of the Honors College.
Beyond the stimulation of an
enriched education, Honors students are also accommodated with Honors residence
halls, priority registration, limited class size and numerous scholarship availability.
