I have been taking the required courses forNot so bright
I have been taking the required courses for the Physical Therapy Program. I have been working on it for about 3 years. They run the program on a point system. So many points for classes. So many points for work experience etc. I have had about 5 different counselors working with me on my program. They have all looked at my course work and identified how many points I have. THIS YEAR HAS BEEN A NIGHTMARE. They keep going back over my course work and deducting points. One minute they tell me I have this number and then they will go back over my course work and say I have less. The funny part is for the last 3 years they have ALL agreed that I have had a certain number. This year, they cannot figure it out to save their backsides. It is a terribly mixed up and corrupt system. STAY AWAY FROM THE MEDICAL PROGRAMS AT ILLINOIS CENTRAL COLLEGE!!!

Question
This is a community college, not a fourBrightPreMed and Medical
This is a community college, not a four year university. Most all of the professors I had were very good and talented instructors. When you get a bad one, too bad for you. There are a few bitter and petty ones too. Just because it is community college does not make them easy graders. I was in a challenging transfer program. Work was quite challenging. Received a pretty good education there. Was a high GPA student. I worked hard. The school itself does not care about the students. Less tenacious people might have given up. There are a couple of administrative departments where I felt as though the people were actually cruel. These people could have cared less if I succeeded, and were a real road block to me. The education I received from the instructors was very good. I had a small handful of instructors who were just wonderful and passionate about their chosen fields. Grin and bear the others. The school I do not feel very good about at all. If I had a choice, I very much wish I had gone somewhere else. Transferred out to a four year school. But left with a bitter taste in my mouth.

Question
DO NOT TRUST THESE PEOPLE.Quite BrightNursing
DO NOT TRUST THESE PEOPLE....ICC Nursing Program is not a program based on merit. This program had unchecked authority that was consistenly abused. Overall, the faculty mentality is hypocritical and unprofessional. They will advance people based on factors that have nothing to do with performance, but have everything to do with sympathetic favoritism. Overall, it is a toxic place. My advice, take out a FANNIE MAE student loan, and expend your educational resources in an environment that is of higher quality. ICC is a real low life nursing program.
