Super Brilliant
I have had a wonderful time at IIT. The coursework is VERY challenging and there is a lot of time spent studying, but that is to be expected since it is an engineering school. There are plenty of oportunities on campus to get involved, either in competitions like steel bridge or in greek life. Clubs on campus compete for people to join them, since there is a good portion of the campus that stays in their rooms playing video games (once again, this is an engineering school), but if one wants to go out and have fun or study with others, it is very easy to do.

Bright
Great University, but you must be clear on what your goals are. If you are looking out for a party school, delete this one from the list. If you want to become a competitive engineer, you will find iit to be a more pleasable place.

Quite Bright
As an architecture student, the expectation is that the coursework will be very difficult, time consuming, and challenging. Mostly true. One of the best cities in the world to study architecture. IIT has a great rep. Great scholarship/funding. LOVE the diversity after the non-diverse high school attended. LOVE the access to the city. Great experience in the dorms. Don't understand the complaints.... Maybe it has to do with chosen major.
