Horrible school! Absolutely HORRIBLE!
All the teachers are self absorbed slave drivers. Condescending, careless, rude, arrogant, it all applies!I'd learn more on my own if I was given a book list to read for my major than to have to sit through the useless strife of an 'education' this school "offers".

It's easy to conclude that after three years of attending ISU, the fraternities and sororities on campus are the primary source of the University's ability to provide socialization between students involved in different fields of study. Some would argue that the school has several social groups and student clubs available. However, information on these organizations tends to be scarcely provided for the students. There is typically one day a year students have a chance to get adequate information for campus-wide social groups they'd potentially like to be a part of. One day, that's all, and not all student organizations attend. In short, ISU is an easy place one may find themselves feeling completely alone amongst 30,000 strangers.People just don't seem to be very welcoming and approachable on campus.

What I like most about the school is that they are updating as much as better so that is a plus. The teaching staff is also helpful and friendly. The thing that is bad about this school is some of the people. I'm not saying the whole school, obviously not, but people I've run into aren't very friendly. People I would be in a group in would pretend to not see me and not wave back when I wave hi. I joined a club and when I saw one of the leaders I smiled and said hi and she pretended to not notice me. I NEVER thought it would be this hard making friends here. I feel like people for sure judge you. I know I did nothing wrong if I knew what I did wrong I wouldn't be writing this. I say the school is good at giving you opportunities for internships and jobs. But socially, I have only run into rude, two faced people. Who like to "pretend" you don't exist. Pretty disappointed in this a lot. I would like to transfer asap but it's not the easiest thing. Again, I know not everyone is like this but a lot of people so far have been rude. It's a shame because the nightlife does seem fun. I guess it takes longer for some people.
