Wesleyan is a good school in a small subruban area. Everyone is cool or whatever but you have the few people who are VERY close-minded. I'm a minority oncampus and sometimes people don't seem to welcoming or im typecast as the 'token black chick'. But, thats only for a chosen few. Everyone else either doesn't care or is just neutral. The campus is beautiful. It looks exactly like the brochures to be honest. The social life is a bunch of bull though. Usually to get a good party you've gotta go over to ISU. And, while there are malls and stores out this way thats it. After you reach a certain point you either see nothing but corn fields or get into the rural, more roughneck part of town. All in all its a goos school but if you're from a big city then I wouldn't suggest it. Also, they don't have a good communications program. So, yeah...

IWU was a tremendous school. Opportunities are plentiful, but you have to have the motivation to seek them out. You'll receive a top-flight education here if you work for it.

The campus looks very nice. Buildings are all pretty new, up to date. Inside the buildings everything looks nice, state of the art computers. It is everything you would expect in a college of its caliber and more. If you plan on coming to IWU you should get involved in something. With it being such a small school there are many opportunities to become a leader. I would say 90% or more students are involved in something, from sports, Greek life, clubs, jobs, volunteering, everyone does something.
Collaboration/Competitive: A+, Campus Maintenance: B-
