I love the small campus, my biggest class was 40 students. Professors actually will know your name and help as much as possible. Although it is a private university it is also a Catholic university yet 75% of students commute, including me. Definitely NOT a party school, but gives tons of scholarship money, which is wonderful. I ended up paying as much as I would for a community college while going to a small private Catholic university.

Well what can I say about Lewis... Like many other students in the aviation department, the flight program did not work for me. However, I have experienced a lot of help from instructors and staff with planning out my majors. Some faculty members are outdated, mainly in the maintenance section of the building. However, that is only a small percentage of the faculty. Currently I am a junior, I work full time, and I go to school full time. Not so sure if you would want to live on campus, commuting is most likely the way to go. Went to a good number of parties on campus tho, had a blast, but it does not happen on a weekly basis. Great school, really makes you think, and real small classes are very helpful. One more note I would like to make, I consider myself very lucky with the professors I had in Lewis. More than half really influenced me and challenged my way of thinking in a way that I have never experienced before. You just have to open your mind and question everything!

If you want to feel like you got something out of your education, don't go here. A Lewis education won't get you anywhere... for me it is much more of a hindrance when looking at things to do after graduation than a help.
