They outsourced their online program to a company called Deltak. The instructor would not respond to any of my attempts of communication even though the final project was due. This caused me to fail the course. Lewis refused to refund my tuition, and they refuse to erase the grade from my transcript.

I came to Lewis University with excitement about taking the Master of Science Finance program. Instead I was quite disappointed with the program; the information I learned was completely useless. The degree is junk unless you want to be a day trader or stock broker, other than that don't waste your money or time (unless all you want to learn about is what a dollar is in a Euro for 12 months). The faculty is unhelpful for the most part and I felt a lot like a number. Dr. Robert Atra is the chairman of the program and he is EXTREMELY arrogant and unhelpful. The majority of the teachers are either sink or swim with ZERO personal interest in the students. I would not recommend this university to anyone. I came here with a very high GPA and left with a very low one; If you have questions in class they will keep right on teaching. When I addressed concerns to the academic advisor she was quick to overlook Dr. Atras and the other faculty's faults as an isolated incident. The best instructors for this program were Dr. Marker & Dr. Costen; the rest left much to be desired. Many students complained and were blown off. Try somewhere else is all I can say. If not good luck!

This is a new graduate program in the University and some elements are still developing, but the program is solid, relevant to educators, and it's off to a promising start.
