Super Brilliant
The education at MBI is worthwhile. They could ratchet up some of the first year courses which are a lot of "busy work". The faculty are great, but the Residence Life and student support services are deathly.

Moody needs to treat it students better: they wonder why they all graduate and never donate. I believe in the mission of Moody. Its just sad how bad they've become at doing it. Students are treated like cattle by every department except the faculty. Its almost hilarious how the school runs for the sake of donors, not the students themselves. A school that thinks little of its students=MBI.

People need to realize that Moody is not a school for everyone. It is key that you realize that the program you will be entering into is very niche. If you go in with the intention to get more Christian points and make Jesus happy you are going to be sorely disappointed. Your moralism will find you out at this school, because if you are going in trying to make yourself better it will suck. If you go in because you are running after Jesus and Him alone, He will guide you to a deeper relationship in the midst of the craziness. Ultimately, be very sure that the rest of your life is a call to full time vocational ministry. Otherwise you would be better off going to a Christian liberal-arts school like Wheaton, or Taylor

Let me first start by setting the bases of my review: I graduated from MBI in 00. I was an international student who learned just enough English to pass the TOEFL test and be addmitted to undergrad program. I started as a freshmen but was able to complete the all 136 course credits in 5 semesters taking up to 34 credits per semester. There are several things how this was possible:

- The grades were not my main focus but I was able to graduate with a GPA of 3.5
- The course work was possible beyond max credits that MBI allows (23) because I took class at the Columbia University parallel with MBI and simply transfer the credits at the end.

- I was dedicated to my studies and focused on efficiency sleeping an average of 5 hours/night and spending rest in studies and work to pay school bills

- I am the MENSA member and have a IQ of 152Above list may be show an extreme case, but it presnets that the school is not hard. During my lifetime I attended 4 universities in 3 countries and by far can say that the MBI is well worth spent time if you are are interested to go in ministry. Sad thing is that most of my classmates did not end up serving Lord with education then received freely.
