Quite Bright
Moody Bible Institute Chicago or Spokane are both great places to go to school. Both have different feels, but are great in their own ways. Both have plenty to do (outdoors - Spokane), and city life (Chicago). The students are friendly, but often quite busy due to a lot of coursework and extra requirements (such as Practical Christian Ministry work). Regardless of where you go, you will get great professors, but Spokane is much more of a relaxing and academically creative environment compared to Chicago. Chicago has much more tradition and history compared to the former, but either place will provide a quality education.

Bright
I attended Moody in my late 20's into my early 30's and it proved to be a great decision. The professors and curriculum helped me grow in my walk with Christ in ways I could not have imagined. If you are considering vocational ministry I do not think you could choose a better institution.

I graduated in the spring of '11 with a B.Sc. in Bib. Studies and have spent this year working toward a B.Ed. from a state university. Moody helped to prepare me for my current studies and had higher academic standards than my current university. I found their classes to be informative and contain the appropriate level of content. With any school, there are good and not so good professors. Some of the teaching was somewhat narrow, but based on Moody's interpretation of Scripture. I disagreed with some of their doctrinal positions, but was respectful of their position and, I feel like I was treated with respect even though my views differed. I learned from their perspective but didn't feel like it was forced upon me. I think it is beneficial for students to have realistic expectations in any Bible college or university. Bible schools do not create spiritual growth and cannot do the work of the Holy Spirit. Humankind is flawed, and yes, that includes Christians in Bible College or Seminary. Do not come to this school expecting it to fix all of your personal or spiritual problems. I would recommend this school for anyone wanting to study the Bible and still work toward an accredited degree. Stay away from Bible schools that aren't regionally accredited! Moody's credits transfer easily to other universities and, in my experience, have opened up the door to further education.
Preparedness: A+, Reputation: A+
