The Faculty are arrogant and not helpful for the students. The Unorganized Faculty makes you irritated.

I watched movies for 80% of a Linguistics graduate course I took this summer while the prof. sat in the back of the classroom grading, eating, or doing other work. As a student I heard more about the bickering that goes on between faculty and administration than I did about any kind of academic subject (this goes on during class...from the profs). The department was tacky, unprofessional, and deprived the students the education they pay for by taking class time to vent their daily drama. Really an embarrassing mess. These comments pertain to one department only -- other departments might be completely different. I can't say

NEIU I thought would be a good school but Ive been there for a couple of month for thge summer my intentions was to take three classes... but one of my classes was cancelled after 2 classes and only 2 people attending the class but the bad thing about that the professor didnt list that he cancelled the class so I have 2 A's and one class that had nothing on it not even cancelled... HNow their saying I have a hold and cant tell my why I have a hold... the professors are great its just the system of the financial offices
