Question
OK what people need to realize here isBrightPsychology
OK what people need to realize here is that this IS a Jr College. You go there to get your Gen Ed's out of the way. I know of no Jr College's that are known for stellar reputation like Loyola, Northwestern, DePaul, etc. If you want that level of education then by all means, go to those schools and pay 10x as much for the same gen ed's. I am a busy working mother of two. I didn't mind prairie state, I enjoyed the classes the vast majority of profs were great and I enjoyed learning. Was I challenged? Not really, but again it's a community college! Anyone can get in so they have to cater to the "anyone". They don't have standards like the big Universities do. My only real complaint is that you can not usually graduate with an Associates in anything because a lot of the time the courses they require for it aren't offered. Ever. I was in a class and the kid next to me said he has been waiting for one class for two years.

Question
Where do I begin.Quite BrightPreMed and Medical
Where do I begin...? I chose PSC because it was in-district and because it was cheap, little did I know this school is just a big JOKE. The students there just hang around like they have nothing better to do with their lives. The teachers are SOOO old; seriously all my teachers ranged from 50- to at least 75! They have bootleg fashion shows and there sports are garbage. One more thing they put you in unnecessary classes for instance you can take the same test at Moraine Valley College and get all 101 classes like I did, and at PSC they'll place you in classes like 098, 090, and etc. PSC is a waste of time because they just take your money with the unnecessary classes. Some students like the school b/c it's not far from where they live and because they don't have higher standards of getting a great education. Do all your research before you come here. This school is something I will always regret!
