I came into Trinity with a conservative, Republican, Christian mindset, and in just one years time Trinity's oppressive brand of shoving Christianity down your throat at every opportunity made me finally wake up and realize that you don't need Christianity to live a happy life. Religion aside, Trinity has 'quality' education, but I can't really say to much outside of my major of Poly Sci. As for a social life, Trinity is like a prison you pay to go to, people keep to themselves for the most part, and if you're not a CRC Dutchy, people look at you like you're a leper, not very Christian at all. If you live within 20 miles of Trinity, COMMUTE, you will regret living on that ghost town of a campus.

For anybody seeking a 'college experience' stay far away from Trinity, they will seek to brainwash you with their Christian values and even do so at expense of what you're PAYING to learn about, go to NIU or even Northwestern, Trinity is more like a community college in a way, people pack up and leave on the weekend due to lack of social life./end rant

Trinity , would be a great school if you were white. If you are a minority then this school is not for you. As a minority , you will feel left out in class and group, because this school is not diverse. In classes when getting into groups, as minority you will never be pick into a group. Sometime the professor would throw you into a group. Some professor are close mind and already have their target on which student they like and don't. As for your social lifestyle , there are none. Classmate are boring and fake. One day they will your friend , the next day they would not give a rat ass who you are. However , you do find some good friends here. It take a lot of work , and you just have to be yourself and don't try to be something your not. Trinity is just like another Highschool.

The profs are wonderful and open their houses up to the students even! You know that you are cared for, and even the people on campus can surprise you. I'm looking forward to Chicago semester in which we get to live in chicago and do and internship through the school, and I think I want to go to Turkey or Spain for interim, a two-week course offered between the semesters. I love Trinity and it has helped me grow as a person, in all aspects, spiritually, physically, mentally, and psychologically. This place isn't for everyone, but it was definitly for me!
