Trinity , would be a great school if you were white. If you are a minority then this school is not for you. As a minority , you will feel left out in class and group, because this school is not diverse. In classes when getting into groups, as minority you will never be pick into a group. Sometime the professor would throw you into a group. Some professor are close mind and already have their target on which student they like and don't. As for your social lifestyle , there are none. Classmate are boring and fake. One day they will your friend , the next day they would not give a rat ass who you are. However , you do find some good friends here. It take a lot of work , and you just have to be yourself and don't try to be something your not. Trinity is just like another Highschool.

Quite Bright
Trinity Christian College advertises itself as a Christian college in the Reformed tradition. Be that as it may, if you are a Reformed Christian looking for a solidly Reformed education, you would be better off NOT attending this college. The education (broadly-speaking) is more modern Evangelical and the campus at large is more concerned with social justice, creation-care, diversity fads than they are in maintaining and fostering a place for young people to grow in the grace and knowledge of Christ. Although I did have some very good professors who did contribute to intellectual and spiritual, they were few and far between. A student would be better off going to a larger, less-"conservative" Christian college with better academics, like Biola, Wheaton, Grove City, Westmont, Trinity International, or Calvin. Though they pride themselves in open-mindedness, they speak a very intolerant language to any who would hold to notions of truth, conservatism, tradition, etc.

First of all, I am not going to sit here and rant & rave about how horrible it was. It wasn't bad. For certain people it is probably the best college imaginable. But there was just something about it, that didn't agree with me. The college is ok, the academic aspect of it is just ok. There are alot of adjunct profs. But all are very accessible. The social aspect is...well if you are looking to go to a college where everyone is constantely wanting to hang out & scream & run around & you like being around people CONSTANTELY, then Trinity is good. But for the more artsy, layed back kind of people, Trinity is just not really the right fit persay. I was in a friend group of about 20 people. We like going to the ethnic places in chicago, going to shows, chillin out, & listening to stuff like Anathallo. Only 5 of that group returned to Trinity the next year. Only 2 plan on returning the year after that. It just depends on your personality really.
