Andersen University

A-Town is not exactly the most exciting city on the planet, but Indianapolis is just a 35 minute drive south. The academics are good. Student life is pretty good. Anderson has a reputation as "the" party school of the Christian university's (at least in the midwest) which is not a tough title to have bestowed upon you when the competition is Taylor, Wheaton, etc...

I loved it there. It has good balance of the Christian University experience and the let's have fun on Saturday night thing.

Anderson was a nice place to go. A bit over priced as are all private universities IMO, but I enjoyed my time there. I am not a social king and didn't even have a car my first two years, but was relatively comfortable in the dorms of Anderson. I did not spend my time studying all the time either as I only came away with a 3.2. But I consider myself conservative and this school fit that OK. It was small enough to really know people, both students and professors, but big enough to have lots of activities to do. If it wasn't so expensive now (and I make good money) I'd consider sending my own kids their. I would have to be making well over $125,000 to send my kids here and have a relative financial burden to what my parents had sending me 15 years ago. Education (especially private) just keeps going up in double digit rates when salaries don't.

Good school, about what I expected. Still waiting on a new Gym which was promised in 98. Faculty in Business are very friendly and helpful and nice people to get to know.
