Positive Negative Neutral Advice
Nobody stays on the weekends because there isAverageBusiness - Management and Administration
Nobody stays on the weekends because there is literally nothing to do on campus. There are no events, not even homecoming. Occasionally, campus activities will hold an event, but I promise it will feel like a junior high event, filled with childish games and inflatables. It is very hard to meet people when there are few events and no greek life or anything like that. Oh and the School thrives off getting people in trouble. They literally look for it. If you're 21 you're not allowed to drink off campus even if you're home. you're also not allowed to be at any function where alcohol is present. If the school gets wind of an occurrence, I promise they will discipline you even without proof. I understand that it is a Christian school and we need to be held more accountable, but lets keep those rules to the campus, not when we go home. Its called the "Bethel Bubble" and doesn't prepare you for the future. All of this would be okay, if the school planned fun events to make up for their fun sucking environment. If you're are reading this and are affiliated with Bethel and can make a change, here are some ideas.

1. Maybe a slip-n-slide (But you might show ankle skin so maybe not)
2. Start a Homecoming
3. Rent a DJ and maybe have a dance
4. Scavenger Hunt
5. There are many more, but maybe you could get campus activities to come up with a list and have the student body vote.

The reason I granted Bethel two stars instead of one-There are positives to the college. Majority of the people are very nice and fun to be around. Also, the professors are very helpful and will look to help in any way. In my experience the Coaching staff is awesome and athletics are fun and a great experience.

Excellent College! The professors are incredible.Super BrilliantCriminal
Excellent College! The professors are incredible. I've attended a state university and this college has a far better experience all around. You will get a far better education from a private college vs any state university. Bethel does not have the high school style of teaching and testing compared to most colleges. It has a very intelligent style of teaching and testing so you can actually learn and use what you are being taught.

Question
Research this school before you commit.BrightBusiness - Management and Administration
Research this school before you commit. Does not have a good reputation. Does not prepare you for real life. Faculty and fellow students are waiting for you to break one of the many rules so they can turn you in. So called good people including faculty will lie to cover themselves. Only like minded people are wanted here. Easy to get in to this school, mainly because no one wants to stay there.
