I really enjoyed my time at FC. Even though I didn't quite enjoy the experience in my particular major area of interest, faculty in other departments more than made up for it. I would attend FC every time.

I've only been at Franklin for a year, and I absolutely love it!! The professors are good, except for a select few. As far as a social life goes, you either have to be Greek, or you have to be a drinker to have a really good time. Most of the people here are rich or are athletes, which makes for a semi-snooty atmosphere. I think that Franklin is worth the money.

Key to my profession (the law) is the ability to communicate, particularly in writing. At FC I wrote constantly. It was not unusual to churn out fifty pages per week of papers and/or bluebook exams. As a partner in our firm, I see dozens of resumes and cover letters each month. The truth is that the overwhelming majority of law students and graduates do not understand basic grammar and compositon techniques. At larger schools, the opportunity to develop writing skills is limited because the professors have too many papers to grade and/or are to busy trying to get published. At FC, my professors cared about my evolution, and they cared whether or not I attended class (even when I did not). The bottom line is that I worked hard and took advantage of an opportunity to develop my mind. FC prepared me well. I attended a top twenty law school and graduated with honors. I have had great success in the law at a relatively young age.
Preparedness: B+, Reputation: F
