i feel that the quality of the education here is not worth the tuition. most of the professors teach only from power point and there is much to be desired from the material, which is very rarely challenging on any level. the school claims they are highly ranked amongst schools in the midwest, when in fact there are only a handful of schools in these rankings. if i went to a school of 5 students i would be in the top 5 of my graduating class and that means nothing. there are limited extra-curriculars and there is nothing off-campus shy of an hour away. there is no diversity here at all, 99% of the students are white middle to upperclass. most seem to be very naive and sometimes ignorant of other beliefs and ideals other than their own.

This is my senior year and I've really enjoyed Taylor. It's been a great experience - both learning and making new friends and having funs.

coming to Taylor was one of the worst decisions in my life. During the application process, the staff was cold and unfriendly, and once I was accepted, I learned that I would recieve no financial aid despite my relatively high grades, and even higher test scores. After I decided to come to Taylor because I wanted the Christian college experience, but once I got there, I found that the students, professors, and administrators anything but Christian. On top of that, the overall outlook and attitude of the University is anachronistic and fundamentalist (almost like Bob Jones U.)(and this from a conservative, Republican, Christian). Take my advice, and stay away!
