This school is like the 13th grade. Thank God I was lucky to have a full-ride scholarship to this community college. I should have gone to a four-year college right out of high school. I'm looking into four-year colleges right now, and most of them will not accept all of my credits. What a waste of time! I feel bad for the students who have to pay to commute to this school 2-4 times a week and circle around the parking lots to find parking. Absolutely nothing to do outside of campus, and very little to do on campus other than go to class

I would not recommend BCCC to a friend or family member. I am the 3rd person in my family to go to BCCC and we all agreed that should have gone somewhere else. The El Dorado campus is literally falling apart. If it is raining there can be inches of water on the floors (indoors).
The biggest problem with the school is their professors. They are terrible to say it nicely. There is a black professor that is terribly racist against whites (believe me, you will hear about his views in every class), there are professors that are racist against women (if you are a man in their classes you do great, women flunk or quit), most professors won't give you the time of day (tell you that they don't have time for your questions). Some professors laugh and make rude jokes at students when they are giving a speech, etc. the front of the class. I have been in several classes where professors make students cry (and then made fun of them). Must students avoid professors that are walking down halls etc. It seems that 85% of the professors have made it their mission to make you fail, and it's working. 80% of the classes I have been in have a class average of a D or F. My classes had 45%-50% less students at the end of the semester. If you complain about a professor either you get no response or the president of the school says she can't do anything because the professor has 10yr.

BCCC is cheap and you can tell. It is possible to get your degree from the school but you have to work at lot harder and put you with a lot more crud.

BC3 is a great school for the non-conventional student. Most of the Faculty understand the conditions surrounded by the non-conventional student. (36, divorced, full time job and children etc...)

Many of the classes are provided on the internet as well.

Butler is a good, solid, cost-effective community college that provides an education that is competitive with any 4-year college's lower-division (freshman and sophomore) programs. Strong faculty!
