This school treats you as if you are just another pay check to them. Rates constantly go up and they are continuously searching for ways to make you pay them more money. Now the cost of book price "e-books" has been added into tuition whether you use them or not. Hahaha.... It's like paying for cable but they never turn it on. What kind of shit is that? They will never return your phones calls. They never answer the phone. Even the Dean will ignore you. Financial aid is screwed up. Because of their mistakes, I am now a Grade 3 student but recieve less loans then what I received as a freshman. Talk about knowing how to piss someone off. I could go on and on but I am out of patience.

I wouldn't recommend Brown Mackie College - Cincinnati to dog fight. There have been nothing but problems every month that I have attended there. I am in the Paralegal Studies program and am now in my 15th month. I have had 3 instructors that I would consider good. One of the bad ones point blank said not to ask him for help. He as only getting paid to lecture and if we need help, to go to the learning center (which BTW is closed) or ask the librarian or a classmate. Another instructor was ADHD and off his meds. (He told his class that)

The computers were slow and practically unusable for 10 months. BMC has no in-house IT department.
They're financial department stinks. You can call over and over and never get a live person, neither will one return your call. There are a number of students whose Pell Grants are not hitting their accounts. Mine included was supposed to hit in July 2012. It still hasn't hit and I have been informed that my Pell is under "review." But according to FAFSA, my Pell has been disbursed. Does this make sense?

I was notified of a $20.00 per credit hour increase to tuition and a $5.00 per credit hour general fee for IPads is being added. But I'm not entitled to the IPad because I don't have enough time left. But I still have to pay the fees.

The Career Center is useless. I was told they would help me find a job. I got emails periodically....of jobs I had already applied to that were forwarded from sites like Indeed.com and Careerbuilder.com. Oh, and I'm still not working.

The bookstore is way over priced. But if you're lucky and you can smooze, you can "borrow" the book from the instructor so that he/she has nothing to instruct you with. Or, if you're really lucky, you can find the instructor who buys books from his/her students on the last day of class and then re-sales them at a profit. In conclusion, why do I remain at BMC? My credits won't transfer. BMC needs to be legally investigated.
