I went for less than a month before being terrified of my future at this school---Decided to leave. (great decision!)...Although, I was billed over $2,000 for those 3 weeks....

I graduated from Brown Mackie North Canton.Upon my admission interview,I was guaranteed job placement within my local court system as a probation officer.A terminal ill parent would not be an inconvenience of my attendance. This was a LIE!

My overall Loan repayment total is double and I was dropped when my family member died & I was making Final arrangements for the end of the estate. The Dept.Chair stated "WE DO HAVE AN ATTENDANCE POLICY" when I said that the family was being called in and more than likely they would be deceased by Monday.Real Compassionate!" These staff members are NO longer there. So much for Misrepresentation. The North Canton Building has a high employee turn over and I was forced to find my own internship due to the list being 3 years OUTDATED and I did not reside in STARK county.

The current staff is amazingly friendly and the hire rate after graduation is less than 54% for Criminal Justice Students and don't get me wrong SOME HEAD STAFF did play favorites to students who made staff uncomfortable. That was apparent at the winter 2012 Graduation. When it comes to ceremonies or certain aspects for students this campus(BUILDING) has its hands tied between organization and staff communication,Everything appears to be a spur of the moment thought.Graduation students with high GPA were obviously mentioned if they graduated in the last few months. Those of us forced to wait 6 months received NO RECOGNITION for any school contributions (Positions held in clubs, volunteer work or awards).

IF YOU WANT TO GO HERE:
HAVE BACK UP TRANSPORTATION
RESEARCH JOB PLACEMENT AND FIND A FACILITY IN YOUR AREA IN YOUR FIELD FOR YOUR DEGREE INTERNSHIP OF 120 HRS.

IF YOU HAVE PROBLEMS IN AREAS LINE UP A TUTOR/FRIEND FOR HELP IN SUBJECTS.TEACHERS ARE AVAILABLE BUT NOT WHEN YOU ARE on NIGHTS and Employed.

Librarians are amazing and VERY OVERWORKED but will assist you.
CREDITS WILL NOT TRANSFER TO A UNIVERSITY BUT SOME WILL TO ONLINE.NOT ALL!"
RENTABOOK.Com is a fraction of what BMC charges for TEXT BOOKS.SOME ARE IN LIBRARY for IN USE.
CAMPUS IS VERY SAFE and SECURITY IS ON STAFF DURING OPEN HOURS.
NOTHING HERE IS FREE.Most STAFF currently speak more than one language but ENGLISH IS CLASSROOM 99%.I had an instructor whose English was very limited and I never saw COLLEGE ALGEBRA before.I was horrified and this was during the time my parent passed away.Very stressful.

Life happens and it is never the same every day.
RESEARCH and VISIT Before you make an interview with ADMISSIONS.
DO NOT SIGN ANYTHING WHEN FIRST VISITING.COME BACK ON YOUR OWN and talk to current students by asking how long have you been here & what you are taking? You will get numerous opinions about each field.

Useful Schoolwork: A+, Education Quality: F

Stay away from this P.O.S school it is a joke. I don't regret anything in my life but going to BMC South bend. The teachers are mostly rude and won't take the time to explain things. They want you to read the book do the work book and not ask questions. The finical aid people are some of the stupidest people I have ever came into contact with. I would not encourage anyone to go there. They should shut their doors because that place is nothing but a scam. I have been there for 14 months and they have raised tuition 3 times since I started. I can't believe how bad this has turned out. I was so excited to be starting school there and thought it would be wonderful because I have 2 young kids and I only had to worry about one class a month, but I thought that I would be learning stuff. I can honestly say that I have learned more from reading my text then ANY teacher there has taught me. If I would have went to another local college I could have got my degree for $12,000 but instead I'm going to end up paying about $38,000 and the book store is another joke they want to charge people $200 for a book that they can buy for $20 online. Worst mistake of my life DON'T choose this place.
