To anyone who is planning to be a child care major at Cloud County I would advise you to plan to be there three years instead of two. The courses in this area are taught by highly noted professors, yet these courses are somewhat difficult to pass and how the major is broken up is that if you want to complete your program and still do an internship within two years you will be taking 15-18 hours per sememster the first three semesters you are there with major homework (several hours per night)in the majority of your classes. If you decide to take the three year option like I did you only need to take 12-15 hours per semester and you also have the option to break up your intership over several semesters (like I did) or take it your last semester(the internship is for 6 hours of credit) and only have one or two other classes to worry about.
