 | Quite Bright | If you're interested in either accounting or the practice of law, I wholeheartedly recommend that you consider attending Emporia State. While the small rural community of Emporia is a complete cultural and societal wasteland, ESU attempts to remedy the community's deficiencies with on-campus events and activities, and the campus' close proximity to Topeka, Wichita, and Kansas City ensures that you won't be bored on the weekends. The social life trade-off is more than offset by ESU's extremely reasonable price, and by the successful experience you will have there. At ESU, the professors are not only experts in their respective fields, but they really know HOW to teach (a big priority at ESU), with nearly all of them having mastered the delicate balance between being academically demanding, and supportive at the same time. And the work ethic you'll learn will essentially guarantee your success at any job you undertake after you graduate. After a gentle four years, you will leave ESU with a good GPA, great friends, relationships with your professors that will last a lifetime, and manageable student loan debt! | Starting Job: Staff Accountant, Preparedness: A+, Reputation: A | | |

| | Quite Bright | | I like this university, and I'm glad I go here. All of the construction is done half-ass, and it takes forever. There's a lot of propaganda for various Administration sponsored BS, and people here are universally close minded. That being said, this university also offers a full range of oppritunity. Astudent doesn't get lost here. Class sizes are small, and diversity can still be found for those who seek it. If you want to live in a cultural mecca, forget about it.But, if you want the best theatre dept. in KS, and you want to be more than a number. ..Come here. Also, it's dirt cheap. | Faculty Accessibility: A+, Campus Aesthetics: D | | | |
