 | Quite Bright | I am not sure why we are seeing so much negativity, but FHSU is a great school. After three years, I feel I have learned much in my field, and am excited to start my masters in Fall 2012. I am already seeing job offers in my field and the support I get from the Informatics program is amazing. It is challenging and rewarding. Personally, no not everything is perfect, but what in life is? Persons who expect perfection obviously have issues with realistic expectations. That being said, true negativity comes from within. Perhaps instead of expect everyone to bow to expectations, it is time to change something within yourself. Calling someone names and being rude is unjustifiable and arrogant. Perhaps where these negative people come from they are used to being coddled, welcome to the real world. Coddling will not happen at the university level. Cheers. | Education Quality: A+, Faculty Accessibility: F | | | |

| | | The school is cesspool of racism. The instructors are doing no more than pimping these students for teaching credentials and tenure. The Chair of the Poli Sci department is a blatant bigot, and a thieve she will rob you of points that you have earned, that she has granted, and then justifies taking them back. I am currently initiating an appeal with the administration, which I got an eery feeling that it will not do much good, I may have to prove a point, and go the distance with this one. It is clearly an interference with my prospective advantage, and is a cause for action. I will not be trampled over by this mut of an attorney and law professor. | Preparedness: -, Reputation: - | | | |

| | Quite Bright | I just finished my first semester at FHSU as a virtual student. This school is GREAT. At first I was a little hesitant after reading a lot of reviews - so I emailed the virtual student department and asked a lot of questions. Kevin L. Splichal, Student Success Coordinator for Virtual College replied right away and was extremely helpful. I decided to give it a try and I am happy I did. I did not have any problems with Black Board. Kevin told me they use to years ago but since the system has been upgraded there have been little to no problems. I had absolutely no problems with it. Professor Robert Moody is one of the best teachers I have ever had! I highly suggest Education majors take his foundations of education class. Not all teachers are as great, I did deal with one whom I think did nothing the whole semester. We were to read, quiz and test and that was all we did the whole semester. That class felt like a waste of money. However for the most part FHSU has been really good. They have your degree mapped out and easily lets you see what you need. Your adviser has to approve your schedule, and if he/she sees you signed up for one you do not need they will double check with you to make sure you know it is not needed for your degree. I'll be doing my second semester there in the spring. Highly recommend it. | University Resource Use: A+, Scholastic Success: C- | | | |
