JCCC is by no means a replacement for a four-year university. That being said, JCCC seems to have a good head on its shoulders, focusing all it's energy on the students rather than propaganda, and sports. Staff is very helpful, they're not afraid to meet outside of class to discuss any issues you may have. Classes are very flexible, as they should be, and the student body has a mature composition due to the amount of older students. Parking can be a hassle, but manageable if given enough time to walk from wherever you park. Overall a great place to start your college education. They're educational quality is one that rivals, even exceeds, some four year institutions.

It is one of the best colleges in the US! Faculty and staff are really nice, helpful but you do have to make sure that you go ask for help! As long as you want to try and give your best there will always be great help.. A lot of the instructors even have office hours that you can go visit just to understand the material or just to talk with them for personal problems. Also, there are so many social opportunities but you also have to reach out.. As long as you go try out for things there will be plenty to get involved in!

It is a good education program but for someone who wants the college experience and life then jccc is not the place. because it is surrounded by adults who have children and jobs. its difficult to have any sort of fun here
