Sort By: [Date] [Major] [Rating] Nursing  Major Salary, Salary Trend, Satisfaction, Unemployment Quite Bright Nursing Program; they refuse to show proof of our grades as in other nursing programs. They push the students through the program that they want to graduate to make their NCLEX board successes high. A blatant violation of Federal Aid. Students are pushed to the limit. Instructors beyond first semester are totally unreasonable. Instructors admit they don't know how to teach the material. Anything you learn in this program you'll teach yourself. The Dean of the Nursing Program and the Dean of the College is aware of the violations and does nothing. It's a huge ripoff. Not to mention the students who have committed suicide. They make you do a tremendous amount of unnecessary documentation and paperwork as makework. Our scantrons are withheld and students are absolutely refused the right to VERIFY our grades in the program, which I'm sure is against the law. None of my other friends/nurses/administrators at other nursing programs have ever heard of such a heinous thing. All clinicals and clinical instructors are vastly different and clinicals vary from great to horrible, fulfilling state requirements to extremely lax, which ticks off all students. One clinical instructor is blatantly racist, has been reported to the Dean and Civil Rights for three semesters, screams at students from day one whom she singles out for her racist hatred, and makes their lives a living hell. But they still keep her on staff. Several students over the three semesters actually committed SUICIDE in this program, which they want you to believe had nothing to do with the program, but we know now that it definitely did.
