HONORS COLLEGE-PRESIDENTIAL LEVEL Typically, each year between 10-12 new
entering PSU freshman are awarded Honors College Presidential Scholarships. These
scholarshipsinclude tuition, fees, a book stipend and room and board,
and are renewable for up to four academic years. Presidential
scholars will be required to complete Honors College requirements, which
requirements include (among others) maintaining at least a 3.4 cumulative GPA on coursework completed at Pittsburg State. Recipients are also
required to complete departmental honors in their major academic department.
High school seniors who are interested in applying for these
scholarships must have an ACT composite score of at least
28, and a high school GPA of at least 3.5.

HONORS COLLEGE-COMMUNITY COLLEGE TRANSFERS
Typically, each year between 3-6
community college transfer students are awarded Honors College Community College
Transfer Scholarships. These scholarships cover PSU tuition and fees, and
are renewable for up to two academic years. Transfer scholars
will be required to maintain at least a 3.5 cumulative GPA on coursework completed at Pittsburg State and also complete
department honors in their major academic department. Applicants for transfer
scholarships must have at least 40 credit hours of completed
college coursework at the time of application and a minimum
3.75 GPA in that coursework. Application packets and application tips
