| Quite Bright | I transferred out of bellarmine, and it was the best decision I have ever made. The classes are small, and for that you gain a better work environment, but being at a bigger school with over 14,000 students now, it is not much different in class size. It was hard to schedule the classes you needed to take here, and there was never much variety or diversity of classes or majors. This school is very limited in what it has to offer, and you pay to much for the limited choices you will have when you go here. It has some good programs, but only like 5 or 6. Social aspect of college is awful here as well. Many of the students are unfriendly, and will look down instead of making eye contact when you walk through the quad. As I said before, transferring out of this place was the best decision I have ever made. | Perceived Campus Safety: A+, Friendliness: F | | | |

| Quite Bright | Bellarmine University does not live up to the legacy of Thomas Merton in any way. The professors although very intelligent and friendly do not challenge student's perceptions, with the exception of a few. College is a place to think outside the box and not subscribe to one closeminded view of the world. Not alot of diversity and ignorance and racism are present. One positive is the city of Louisville but if you do not have a car then it is hard to do alot unless you enjoy walking alot. Academically, I think that the school chooses students just to raise enrollment in order to turn the school into something it may never be. If you want a cookiecutter student body then go here but if you want to challenge yourself and youre mind and dont need alcohol to do it then look elsewhere. | Friendliness: A+, Scholastic Success: F | | | |

| Average | I've attended quite a few of the post-secondary institutions of education in the state of Kentucky, and have never had a better experience than Bellarmine University. The students are extremely friendly and approachable. The faculty and staff do everything within their ability to accommodate any needs, and are always available. | Education Quality: A+, Social Life: A- | | | |

| Quite Bright | It's a small college, with all the benefits and drawbacks that come with that. Fortunately, it's in a decent-sized city, with lots of bars, museums and restaurants. Faculty quality varies widely from department to department, and the college does its best to hide the bad ones, rather than admitting and fixing their personnel mistakes (ask current students in your likely field of study). Facilities are constantly getting better. Student diversity isn't all it could be (expect lots of wealthy, white kids), but they do try. | Innovation: A, Social Life: D | | | |
