| Bright | Ok... EKU is a nice enough place, Nice campus, GREAT staff but the students here absolutely RUIN it. I mean to tell you, the student body here fits every bad stereotype you would expect. They are SO rude, SO close-minded and have the biggest lack of interest in anything. This is not everyone, there are some amazing people here that are doing there best. The school is safe, I will give it that. But between the African American student ALL sitting on the steps everywhere you try and go (and acting as if you are imposing on there space when you try to walk on them) & the fact that everyone goes home, every weekend. It makes this place a very unfriendly, and unwelcoming place to call "home." If i could do it all over again, this would be the last place I would come. I will be gone ASAP, Take my advice, Don't come to Eastern Kentucky University. | Faculty Accessibility: A+, Surrounding City: D- | | | |

| Quite Bright | I was a 3rd year transfer student this year and honestly, coming from a small private school, the change was so good. I've met amazing people within the first week of classes. I also went to rush, which was an amazing way to meet people. Rush was not something I was expecting to do, as I've never considered myself the "Frat boy type" but it showed me that no matter what, you can always fit into a fraternity because each chapter is so different. You just have to get involved. The students may not approach you, but if you approach them, I haven't met an unfriendly person yet. | Education Quality: A, Innovation: C | | | |

| Quite Bright | The Medical Technology program at EKU was wonderful. I enjoyed my experience at the college. I lived only an hour away from the school, so I went home on the weekends and then commuted my last two years. Because of this the activities outside of EKU held no interest for me. I was at EKU for an education, not social life. I was part of the music program also and loved it. I loved the campus where you can park your car and walk wherever you needed too. I felt safe on campus and not overwhelmed like a larger university. I would definitely return to EKU for graduate studies if I decide to at some point. I was well prepared for my work field when I left the university. | Starting Job: Medical Technologist, Preparedness: A+, Reputation: B | | |

| Bright | I wouldn't go to another university. I love EKU and encourage anyone to give EKU a chance. Plus, it is inexpensive and you get a quality education and one on one help in almost every class. Professors make themselves available to you when you need them and that was really important to me. | Education Quality: A+, Useful Schoolwork: B | | | |
