I am a architecture student that only has one more semester left. Unfortunately, the college is no longer part of the university of kentucky. We are now part of the kentucky community and technical college system. Besides that my experience here has been wonderful. I love my professors and the small size of my classes. One of my 200 level studio classes only has six people in it. I feel that this school is a steal when it comes to the cost of tuition compared to the knowledge you recieve.

Average
I've had a positive experience here. It is a little more challenging than I initially thought! I think it's due to the small class sized and the teacher's being able to provide more work and one on one contact. The only downside was there's not a lot going on on the campus. People just come to class, sit and listen, and then go home! No one is real talkative during class or around the halls. But I'm very satisfied!!

Lexington Community College was not a bad institution. There are plenty of courses to choose from in order to get your general ed. credits out of the way if you plan on transferring to a four-year university. LCC runs under the same board as the University of Kentucky, so credits are easily transferred. LCC employs competent instructors and is one of the better and respected community colleges in the state of Kentucky. I would recommend LCC to anybody who's not exactly sure of what study to major in, and those who wish to save money on tuition during their first two years and plan on transferring later on to UK, where tuition is doubled for the same lower-division undergraduate education.

Super Brilliant
This school is great if you've been out of highschool for a while or in the military. It gives you a step back into the academic community. However, the student body isn't that bright. Don't expect to find much competition to motivate you. The teachers are great and very accessible. They tend to go out of their way for students that show a desire to learn. Lexington is small and there isn't much to do here if you aren't involved in fraternities or sororities. The older population of Lexington is snooty and sometimes it wears off on the students. But most of the students from the surrounding rural areas are freindly and kind hearted.
