Quite Bright
All the staff here is great. Everyone is nice and helpful. However, after being told I was accepted into my chosen program by an admission officer, after weeks and weeks of anticipation. I was confused and heartbroken to find out from the chair person that indeed I am not! And this is after I've paid my $182 for various fees! Sooo now I'm suppose to wait another week for an acceptance/rejection letter. I don't in any way blame the chair person! I just think the front staff in charge of ADMISSIONS only should do just that! Because they speak on info they do not know!! I feel like a complete fool since Ive already told my family and friends! The only thing I can do now is wait another week to hear something indefinitely! This is a nice facility and all but F being screwed around! If not accepted this time I'm highly considering trying somewhere else. Somewhere that isn't gonna screw around with someone's future plans!

The absolute WORST school in history. Teachers suck, the building sucks (it used to be a Winn-Dixie), and the administration is only concerned about money. Go and ask ANY college if they'll take Spencerian's credits, and you'll get laughed out of the building. They are con-artists!! No jobs will take you seriously if you have a "degree" from this place. AVOID COMPLETELY!!

Super Brilliant
I am now a second quarter student in the LPN program at Spencerian. I love it. The staff is helpful, but can be unapproachable, and I understand the reason why. The courses are jam packed with material, and it is challenging, but not something that can't be done. I also did my LMR in 2005 at Spencerian, and although I was younger, I still understood that I must read everything I sign my name on. You are responsible for the loans you take out for your education, no one else is. They hand you a student handbook the day you are accepted and you need to read it and understand it. It is a private school, not a public college for anyone. I think they need to make the entrance exams harder, so the trash will get weeded out beforehand, especially in nursing. If you can't pass your class, it's your fault. They give you a book to read and study, no one tells you how to study or what to read day by day---you are grown---read the syllabus and follow it. I think it is ridiculous that we as a society have sunken to the bottom of the barrel by blaming everyone else for our own shortcomings. I'm glad you didn't make it if you can't pass, and if you can't even read before you sign your name, I sure don't want you taking care of my children or my family. Nurses beware!! This is what makes us all look bad, and we need to rid ourselves of incompetency. Have a good day. Maybe McDonalds is hiring.
