 | Bright | It was a great place to be while you are there. I wish the alumni had better contacts and easier setup for jobs after graduation. The region is pretty bad for employment in general. | Starting Job: Operations Specialist, Preparedness: B-, Reputation: B- | | |

| | Super Brilliant | This is a great school, and that is my opinion about it. Everyone I talked to who went to this school told me they had a great time, including old Alumni. Even though I've only been on campus for only two weeks, it's a privilege going to WKU. You shouldn't listen to most of these comments on this website about any college, only you can make that judgement. I know I will get a great education at WKU, and so far, it's been consuming, but I'm okay with that. | Individual Value: A+, University Resource Use: F | | | |

| | Quite Bright | With the exception of a few helpful people, Western's office staff is extremely unhelpful, rude, apathetic, slow, and unwilling to listen. My dealings with the office staff--whether it is financial aid, getting mysterious holds lifted from my account, signing up for a meal plan or dropping classes--has been incredibly discouraging and irritating. If not due to money and lack of an opportunity to relocate, I would leave this school for this reason alone. It is inexplicably frustrating to get transferred from office to office, knowing that the next voice to come on the line is going to leave you with no questions answered. If you are a high school student looking for a university to attend, please take my advice: try to go somewhere where you will be treated as a person with legitimate questions and concerns. That may mean avoiding large state schools altogether. It isn't worth the frustration of figuring out every detail on your own. | Extracurricular Activities: C+, University Resource Use: C- | | | |
