College is a private, four-year liberal arts and sciences college
affiliated with the United Methodist College. Founded in 1825,
it is the oldest chartered liberal arts college west of
the Mississippi River and the 43rd oldest chartered college in
the nation. Centenary is accredited by the Southern Association
of Colleges and Schools and is a member of the
Associated Colleges of the South (ASC). Centenary is listed
