OMG, where do I begin? LC is a complete trip! If you like to party hard and live in the fast lane, definitely check it out. However, this place is not for everyone! Everyone here is ultra-liberal and super-rich, and the social scene can be a bit intimidating for some of the locals. LC has a wild reputation in Pineville because of all this, so it's easy to get stigmatized by the locals as just another rich weirdo hippie.

LC is an El Cheapo "private" school that draws its miniscule study body mostly from a 60 mile radius of Southern Baptist churches. No one outside of Pineville has ever heard, or cares, about it. If you want a good education and don't want to leave the state, try Tulane, LSU, even UNO, but not this place.

I was accepted into the nursing program at Louisiana College through the study abroad program on St. Kitts Island. I spent almost two years on the island thinking that I was already a part of Louisisna College nursing program. The month before I was leaving St. Kitts Island permanently, I was told that I would have to take a TEAS test. This was the first time that I was informed of this requirement. Five months after I took the test and had already transitioned from the program on St. Kitts Island, I was told that I had to re-take the test and pass the program score or else I would not be able to attend Louisiana College. Louisiana's nursing program is bogus. They do not inform you of all their requirements before you attend the school and then out of know where they pull a fast one on you. Remind you that I spent all this money paying tuition at Louisiana College and living on St. Kitts Island and now it's like it was all for nothing. How I see it is Louisiana College just wants your money, they do not actually care about the student. the effort, time, and money that's spent. Louisiana College claims it is such a chritian school, but I have yet to see the truth in that. I thought Louisiana College would be different, but it is just another school trying to get over on students.
