If I were not on a research assistantship I could not go to school here. You have to take courses at both the medical school and the main campus. The medical school courses are not covered by tuition waiver. The TA stipends are poor ($200/month) and courses are seldom taught. If my advisor had not obtained a grant to get out of his freshman course, I would not have a full load this semester. The administration is best described as "Chimp Haven East". My advisor is a good advisor but he is leaving the school to get a better job. The faculty in biology are nice, but you can't get any answers about anything. No program details are written down so everyone you talk to tells you something different. My advisor has only been here a year, so he doesn't know all the details either. We try to buy stuff through our advisor's grants and the administration loses everything. They lost mileage checks and paychecks I was supposed to get. This is the most disorganized school I have ever seen and I would NEVER recommend anyone go here for undergraduate or graduate. Nobody graduates on time. Worst school I have ever seen.
