Positive Negative Neutral Advice
Electrical Engineering
Let me start off by saying that originally I went to PWI (Louisiana Tech), I earned my BS in Physics there. I really was not interested in being a researcher and definitely not an educator.

I went to SU to get a Masters in Engineering. And to be completely honest, it was the path of least resistance. This institution is not very challenging, so if you are seeking major research or prestige you would be better served elsewhere.

The faculty and staff generally care about how they interact with students. That is really the major high point of this school. There are other good points about SU, but Im focusing on the education mostly. One of the other commenters put it best: if you want an easier route for education while maintaining a social life, SU is your best bet (especially for engineering).

If you are interested in participating in the education program think again. This University's policies and practices a corrupt to say the least. Do not attend this University and do NOT send your children here.

Question
The food is HORRIBLENot so brightEducation
The food is HORRIBLE , you could compare it to jail house food. In the dorms there's only one washer and dryer working on each floor causing conflict between students
