I have a diagnoses of bipolar, I askedAverageSocial Work
I have a diagnoses of bipolar, I asked for support and flexibility, I didn't get any - my essays were always 1sts and 2:1's however, they refused to give me a final placement in year 3 even though I got a glowing report from my 1st placement. Their reason was they thought I was too vulnerable due to my mental health difficulties. I have felt from year one, the lecturers have been trying to get me off the course. The lecturers said I was being paranoid and put it down to me being bipolar. Although i consistently got high grades and did an excellent placement in the mental health area, the lecturers panicked at year 3 as they realised I could probably pass the course, so they threw me out anyway. There was no access to disability support services, the lecturers were not supportive, I asked for an extension for one of my essays for the 1st in year 3, they declined, later I found out they gave extenstions to other students who are not registered as disabled.

BEWARE. The HE Game Development course is so terrible I am SHOCKED that are getting away with it.
The assignment work is of abysmal quality. Over two years I was never taught more than what I expected to learn at the end of the second week. Even then incredibly core skills were completely left out.

I had to transfer to another institute because I wasn't getting any education (I passed all my assignments easily, I could have stayed but I hated the place too much). I felt like I was cheating by being on the course as every other degree in the country was being earned while mine was being bought. STAY AWAY! If you want to do a HE course go to the University! You'll get your money's worth there.

Bradford College truely changed my life.AverageFine Arts - Painting/Sculpture/Photography/etc
Bradford College truely changed my life. It was a major influence on who I am today. There are a lot of times that I wish I was still there. It opened up my mind, heart and soul to learning, rising above the bar, and being friends with people that have simular interests as myself. I'm glad I "dared to be different".
