I'm more than satisfied of my experience in the Valencia campus of Berklee College of Music. The courses are really interesting and some teachers are remarkable. It's a quite recent program and it's evolving in a good direction : I'm sure the music business masters will be even better next year.
The program director, Emilien Moyon, is dedicated to his work and is always available if you have any answers or concerns.
There is a very good atmosphere on campus! You cannot be friends with everyone of course but still there is always respect among the students (I can speak for my program at least).
The tuition (40,000$) is expensive and fortunately I got 1/4 paid as a Berklee Scholarship. I'm really happy of the quality of the infrastructure and the effectiveness of the administrative staff. But still, there is a bit of work to do in the courses and faculty to reach the fair value of that high tuition cost.
Valencia is a cheap, sunny and fun city. I would recommend it to everyone.
To conclude, I would say that I don't understand all those means comments about Berklee especially about the Valencia campus. Don't forget it's just 2 comments out of +500 graduates since the opening of the campus. If you have the opportunity to study your masters in Berklee, do it! Last thing : Don't wait for a job on a silver platter, you have to fight for it whether you're graduated from NYU, Berklee or Miami. Berklee Valencia gives a lot of networking possibilities, they really invite important people and connecting with them can open a lot of doors.
I know you don't wanna hear this but Berklee is a huge scam. I graduated from there in 2012 with a degree in performance. I was always a good student and worked my ass off as much as I could. I wasn't talented enough to get a Berklee scholarship so I took out mega loans and now the loan consumes me. every penny I get I have to spend paying the god damn thing off. I cant even afford a car that runs or my own apartment. But at least I have this great Berklee degreee. Its basically a $200,000 receipt for me to wipe my ass with. Unless you are one of the 5 kids a year to get a presidential scholarship to Berklee, then dont go. They will take all of your money and leave you with nothing. They act like they are going to help you get your career started in music as long as you are a good student but the reality is they take all your money. The faculty are a bunch of jerks. The faculty only wants to play with the best of the best and teach the best of the best and they dont have patience for an average student who isnt talented but is a hard worker. I wish I would have believed all of these negative comments on here before I went off and wasted 4 years of my life plus $200,000. not to mention all the time i spent away from friends and family because I was away at music school in Boston. I hate Berklee so much and I wish I could get back every penny from them. Please dont go there. IF you MUST major in music look at serious programs like NEC. I hope this helps a broke musician kid like me with dreams in their eyes about to take out loans to go to this magical place called Berklee. Wake up people... its all bullshit.

Very unprofessional, they pay ignominious amounts of money on advertising, do not deliver quality education, very money hungry, the real thing is not even close to what they advertise, dont fall for this, is a total scam. Please check the statistics and pick a best suited college.e
