Seriously - BU is a large University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana. I thought there would be very few frats here, but there are MIT frats, Tufts frats, BC etc etc etc. I live on West Campus where people have forgotten that they are not in high school anymore - a lot of people are very cliquey and such - not that i wasnt expecting this in college, but i thought it would be minimal at least. in addition, the classes are fucking boring - the only interesting im taking is Greek History - even my english major class is a waste of my time. i know how to write an essay. the dorms on west also suck, though in the coming years i hear housing gets better. anyway. i just personally dislike the bureaucracy and mainstream aspect of the school. boston is great though. it all depends on what youre looking for in college.

Boston University, though run by some out dated, out-of-touch administrators (Chancellor Silber), is an amazing place to be. The Communications department is top notch with an incredible faculty and amazingly supportive alumni. The life experience is just as wonderful as the education. Definitely worth every penny of the tuition.

This is a good school to attend if you actually want to work. You'll have a good time if you're able to plan ahead, as with any college. Not the party school some people expected, but an awesome school to attend.
