Avoid nursing program especially if you are accepted as an intended nursing student. They claim to have routine meetings with the intended nursing students to keep you in the loop on your status in the program. It's a joke. I went to all meetings all year long and not once was told I had to retake a lab class where I received a c + in my first semester. I ended up with a solid gpa and made deans list only to be told after the end of the year that I had to retake a lab, and if I was lucky enough to pass, would only be considered for a wait list the following spring, if there was room in the program. Imagine my surprise when I opened my deans list congrats letter. Apparently being on the deans list is not good enough. The lack of communication in this department is cause for serious concern. When I appealed this decision, I was told the nursing director was no longer in her role and bolted for a trip abroad for the summer, leaving no one behind who cared to hear my appeal. Do yourself a favor and avoid this school you'll be very disappointed!

Curry has great professors in the Management program. I received a great education. Curry fails its students as far as internships go. I transferred in my junior year and one of the things that drew to Curry was the internship program. I was halfway through my junior year and inquired about an internship opportunity only to find out CURRY DOES NOT HAVE ACCOUNTING INTERNSHIPS. Potential students if you don't care about this then by all means go there but as a graduate I am finding out you need experience. Also, I applied for an accounting position at Curry and did not get the job because I did not have any experience and the department in which I applied to did not want to train me. Also, Career Services is pretty poor on the advice they gave me. I had to rely on the college I got my associates at. Wouldn't recommend due to a poor job placement program. Quite ironic I'm going to be competing with now 2012 grads.
