If I had to choose one word forNov 13 2014Other
If I had to choose one word for the Environmental Science & Policy program at Clark University, it would be dilapidated. There is a lot of hype about Clark being a great school, and by all means, in many areas it truly is. However, I found that the ES&P program was very misguided and seemed lost amongst the objectives of the more prominent Social Change program. If you come in thinking you'll have an opportunity to work on meaningful research, or that there is a place for you within the slim pickings of research led by faculty-- think again. Nobody in the department seems motivated to work on real issues, let alone have grad students work with them. Compared to the cost of attending, this degree program is not worth it. I would recommend speaking with advisors, viewing syllabi, and also looking at a list of what students who graduated from ES&P are doing now, BEFORE you commit to attending.
