The school was really great to me.BrightVideo/Media
The school was really great to me. Some of the processes for people transferring in are a little bit more than annoying, but they've also changed a lot since I transferred in. The faculty is great and helpful and most of them work/have worked in the field they teach. The students can be a little pretentious, but they're pretty much a good lot.

People are so whiny on here, Emerson isBrightPolitical Science
People are so whiny on here, Emerson is what you make of it. I had the most fun I could've imagined going all around Boston and living with my suite. You build bonds with whoever you get put together with and it becomes a family. You can either slide through classes high or you can put out an effort and get noticed by the teachers. Making a connection with certain teachers allows you to be invited to organization trips and events all throughout the year. Every teacher has hours to meet exclusively with them, so there is no excuse for no being able to comprehend the subject matter. Boston has something for everyone and its the perfect college town. Whether you want to go sledding on the Commons at 3 in the morning with your friends or see a production or get drunk and wander around Cambridge, this is the perfect college experience. Don't let complainers take that away from you.

I love Emerson College.BrightVideo/Media
I love Emerson College. However, it is definitely NOT for everyone. If you are a partier, DO NOT come here- it can be rather boring on weekends, and there are zero parties on campus on weekends. However, being in Boston, you can find parties at the many surrounding universities like BU and MIT.

The classes here are great, especially for film production majors. The professors are all incredibly skilled and know what they're talking about.

The kids here are kind of strange and eccentric, but that's what you should expect at any arts school. The kids are all really nice for the most part. Another thing- there is really no "campus" at Emerson. I really like that, but I know a lot of kids who don't. If you like the city then you should like the surrounding area. Even though there's no real college campus, you live right in the middle of Boston with so much to do!
