I love it here!
I was worried about coming here after reading some of the negative reviews, but a lot of them turned out to not be true.Really, this is a great place. It's not perfect, but it is wonderful and it is now my home.

Personally, I love Gordon. I have to say, it's not for everyone. Gordon is a beautiful campus, it's small, and the people are extremely nice. The academics are challenging, so be ready. The courseload is immense, and some have a hard time handling this. If you were an A, B, or even C student, you'll be alright. I love being in a Christian atmosphere, but it's not always apparent. I had originally thought (before coming) I would be at a school full of people who were really religious, and never did anything bad, but everyone is really normal. I would say the campus consists of hipsters, and pretty much normal people who listen to mainstream music, and like to have fun. The library even has the 40 year old virgin, so really, it's not that uptight. There are some bad kids, and parties, but they are not that easy to find. If you are a partier, than don't even consider going. You will transfer. The weekends aren't that exciting, and it's not exactly easy to get off campus without a car. But I have to say, I love it at Gordon, and it's a school to be looked at!

Gordon College is an excellent school for intelligent undergraduates to explore their field(s) of interest. Gordon students are challenged to learn and achieve more than what you'll find at some of the top liberal arts schools, as faith provides a common ground between the distinguished faculty and students. The course load and actual material is arduous, but it pays off in the end. This is not a school where Christians can come to be protected from the outside world- inquiry is encouraged and students are guided around typical Christian paths of least resistance. All in all, Gordon College is a school for open-minded Christians who are willing to work hard but think harder.
Faculty Accessibility: A+, Social Life: B-
