Positive Negative Neutral Advice
Very very challenging school, but i am farQuite BrightNursing
Very very challenging school, but i am far better prepared for the NCLEX than my friends in other programs. teachers can seem arrogant and off putting but they will always help if you ask. supportive staff, such as academic advising, is very helpful. i also started my nursing courses a year early because i was done with all my other classes and they did not want me to have to take a year off. i have two bachelor degrees from another university, and find this program just as challenging if not more so. people coming here from high school or first time college students seem to have a hard time keeping up, and with the lack of social and extracurricular activities this may not be the best school for them. however, for a 2nd career student like myself, this school is perfect. if you work within the caritas system they will also pay for all your classes!

Question
This school may be small, but it isNursing
This school may be small, but it is competitive and tough. high academic requirements is the main reason for lack of social activities. the institution really wants to produce good nurses. believe me, just take your time to know the staff and faculty, and you'll find them very HELPFUL AND APPROACHEABLE. the school had been criticized for being unorganized, but they have pulled it together now. the system is simple and great. this is the right place for me - a family man working on a new career (second degree), who does not need much campus social activities.

Question
I think this college is pretty good.Quite BrightNursing
I think this college is pretty good. if i were a high school graduate or a foreign student, this school would be pretty challenging for me... but i'm not. i have a bachelors and a masters in different universities and i do am able to compare school performance objectively. i think this school given their limited infrastructure and social activities, and manpower, do make up for an above-average education and highly rated courteous and friendsly staff and faculty.
